The Kentucky Wildcats Baseball team picked up a big win yesterday, knocking off West Virginia in Morgantown by a score of 11-9.
The Cats jumped out to a big lead, but saw West Virginia come back before Kentucky scored 3 runs in the 8th inning to secure the big win.
With the win, the Wildcats now get ready for a regional final matchup today against the winner of West Virginia and Wake Forest this evening.
If Kentucky can pick up a win tomorrow evening, the Cats will reach the Super Regional for the 4th time in 10 years. If they lose, there will be a rematch on Monday for a spot in the Super Regional.
West Virginia and Wake forest will face off at noon E.T. today. Kentucky will face off against the winner at around 5:00.
Go Cats!
