Kentucky offers another center in the 2027 recruiting class

The Kentucky Wildcats are already working hard on landing some top players in the 2027 recruiting class, and have especially targeted the center position. Over the weekend, they added another name to the list, offering Cherif Millogo.

Millogo is a 7'2", 210 lb center out of Massachusetts who is playing in California. He has a four-star rating from 247Sports and he ranks as their No. 49 overall player. Other services have him even higher, and he comes in at No. 36 on the composite board.

Kentucky joins a growing list of teams interested in the rising big man. Arizona and the Alabama Crimson Tide are just a few of the teams who have offered him already, and more are sure to join as he rises up the rankings.

Mark Pope desperately needs some recruiting wins going forward if he is to keep his job with the Wildcats. He didn't land a single top 100 player in the 2026 class, and Big Blue Nation is getting restless. Millogo would has a terrific upside, and would be a very nice piece to add.
