Mar. 15—MINNEAPOLIS — Even though Northome/Kelliher girls basketball team's state tournament run was cut short, senior Kate Thayer was recognized for her efforts.
Thayer was the lone representative of the Mustangs named to the Class A All-Tournament Team on Saturday. During the quarterfinal against Central Minnesota Christian School, she scored 29 points and collected 12 steals in the 82-69 loss.

In her career, she's had over 1,000 steals, more than 3,000 points and over 1,000 career rebounds.
