The "NFL Top 100 Players" is an annual NFL offseason tradition. There are a few names from the Kansas City Chiefs expected to make the cut, but there are also many opponents featured in this year's rankings. Player No. 61 is a player they are scheduled to see across from them this coming season.
No. 61 is New England Patriots safety Kevin Byard.
Byard started 17 games for the Chicago Bears in 2025, finishing with 93 total tackles (61 solo), 8 pass deflections, and leading the league with 7 interceptions. He was named to his third Pro Bowl and first team All-Pro. During the offseason, he signed a one-year, $9 million deal with the Patriots.
Byard and the Patriots will visit the Chiefs in Week 15 on Monday, December 21, at Arrowhead Stadium.
