Kansas City Chiefs to face player No. 85 of the 'NFL Top 100' in 2026

The "NFL Top 100 Players" is an annual NFL offseason tradition. There are a few names from the Kansas City Chiefs expected to make the cut, but there are also many opponents featured in this year's rankings. Player No. 85 is a player they are scheduled to see across from them this coming season.

No. 85 is San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy.

Purdy started 9 games for the 49ers in 2025 due to injuries; he finished with a career-high 69.4% completion rate, 2,167 yards, 20 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. San Francisco was 7–2 in the nine games he played.

Purdy and the 49ers will visit the Chiefs in Week 16 of the 2026 season on Sunday, December 27, at Arrowhead Stadium.
