Kansas City Chiefs special teams coordinator Dave Toub spoke with reporters before practice on Friday, commenting on Harrison Butker's recent kicking inconsistency.
"Yeah, we're going to keep working. He did make three out of four. He made all those extra points, 13 points for the team," said Toub, "Those are all good. I mean, obviously, we don't like misses. We're going to keep working, see, if we can get more consistency, it's just a little bit of a struggle right now. I mean, everybody sees it. We're just gonna keep working."
Butker missed another kick in last Sunday's victory over the Baltimore Ravens, having one miss in each game so far this season.
"I haven't had somebody that over a period of three or four weeks, I think just a couple weeks, and then you come out of it." said Toub, "We just need to get a game where he (Butker) has a clean game, and put another one together, another one together, and then we just go from there."
The veteran kicker will look to have his first clean game of the season in Week 5 on Monday Night Football.
