The Kansas City Chiefs recently announced two executive promotions related to the team's relocation to a new stadium and practice facility, as well as surrounding development projects.

Matt Kenny will be promoted from Executive Vice President of Arrowhead Operations and Events to Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer. Brandon Hamilton will be elevated from Vice President of Stadium Operations and Facilities to Project Executive, Facilities Development.

"This is an exciting day for the Chiefs as we recognize what Matt, Brandon, and their teams have accomplished, while also looking ahead to the next phase of growth for our organization and this region through continued investment and development," said Chiefs President Mark Donovan in a statement. "We're confident in Matt's leadership as we continue to evolve our special events, stadium, practice facility, and real estate initiatives, and Brandon's experience in venue management and construction positions him well to lead the complex projects and partnerships that will shape our future. We could not be more excited to have Matt and Brandon stepping into these roles."

The Chiefs are set to relocate to the Sunflower State in 2031 after agreeing to a deal with the State of Kansas to build a new stadium in Wyandotte County. Arrowhead Stadium has been the home of Chiefs football since 1972 and is owned by the Jackson County Sports Complex Authority.

Kenny will maintain his current responsibilities and assume a leadership role in the design, development, execution, and operations of the new stadium. Hamilton will serve as the club's construction lead on all aspects of the Chiefs' new facilities projects, including the new stadium and practice facility.
