England's superstar midfielder Jude Bellingham disputed his team's manager on how they played in Saturday's World Cup quarterfinal against Norway in Miami.

After England manager Thomas Tuchel expressed his displeasure with how the team played in the quarterfinal victory, Bellingham stood up for his teammates and emphasized the opponent the team just defeated.

“Maybe he doesn’t know what it means to face a team with Haaland, Ødegaard, Nusa, Sørloth," Bellingham told reporters after the victory, underscoring how difficult it really was to get a win over Norway.

Does Bellingham, the two-goal quarterfinal hero, have a point? Is Tuchel being too hard on his squad after a win?

It's the World Cup, so managers always want their best. However, a manager and player openly disputing each other ahead of the semifinal match isn't a great look for England.

Jude Bellingham pushed back on Thomas Tuchel’s criticism of England’s performance against Norway.

We'll see if this bubbles up as a controversy for England, or if the manager and player will sort things out in private.

Why should Norway have won its World Cup match vs. England in regulation?
