Pic of Farmar from 1996 shows the ears well. I'm virtually positive the kid on his left is Nick Young.
nice teacher!
Holy crap. That is awesome.
Anyone else notice he is wearing The Logo's number?!?
Ugh. You guys need to stop already.
Huh?
I'm not complaining at all. Thats just a fact.
So your opinion that not drafting Farmar is Sarver's second biggest mistake....... is a fact?
Myt comment was pretaining to what you bolded. I thought you were talking about the fact that we sold the picks.
But for what its worth - yeah - I would make that argument Draft wise though yes that was #2.
I guess it really depends on how Farmar turns out but I for one think he is going to be a solid pro and was the perfect kid to back up Nash.
So while there are likely other good players we passed on - of all the draftable back up PG's we could have got - and other than center which there is a scarcity of that is our biggest need - I think Farmar will prove to be the best.
Alright with you? This is a Jordan Farmar thread right?![]()
I also thought it was cool he was a "Junior Laker" and now a real Laker.
Someone on a UCLA board found that pic. We were joking that the Hispanic kid was Lorenzo Mata-Real and the white kid with the short hair was Mike Roll, but we all pretty much agree that IS Nick Young, they were childhood friends so it fits that it would be him.
I got a real kick when they played Detroit briefly he was guarding Afflalo which is really cool for a UCLA fan like me.
Couldn't you jokers just send each other emails about your lakerluv?
I was pretty sure but Russ didn't mention it. Thought I might have been mistaken.
I just looked at the boxscore and it was Lindsey Hunter.
That was the second one (the one he tossed in play that ended with a Drew Dunk.) The first one too?
Yeah, it was Ronald Murray that he stole it from and ended with his layup that I mistook for Aflalo.. Then he stole Rip's pass. Then stole it from Hunter.
What a fourth quarter.
You are correct. Here are his three steals in the fourth;
Murray bad pass, Farmar misses J, Evans dunks.
Hamilton turnover, Bynum Alley Oop.
Hunter turnover, Wallace foul, FTs
Afflalo and Pruitt are comparable teammates one year in HS, friendly rivals ever since.
/cue donald for kobe/rip story
Marion talks way too fast only his family and himself can understand.
On the other hand, Amare is like the slowest talker i have ever seen.
