1. anxious to see the contract
2. i saw the Suggs ref, but i dont think thats accurate -- Watt is all out, all the time
3. Watt brings more locker room / on field leadership
4. Inside pass rush -- so badly needed
5. its a gamble to see if he plays 14+ games
6. I think Reddick goes, but Golden stays now

this says Keim is all in on the next couple years -- interesting to see how the next few weeks play out

this is what I am curious to see as well. Keim knows the status quo isn't working, to save his job he's gotta go big.

I agree. Reddick is gone and Golden will stay to rotate.

a little different when your audience is 4 other people

We were the worst with drive killing / sustaining penalties last year. Culture and accountability comes from these places

#1. Culture comes from peer leadership
#2. Culture comes from management leadership
#3. Culture comes from executive leadership

You either have to add or subtract to impact it.

I will be floored if Peterson is back now. You are likely subtracting 1 team captain and adding another.

why would he come here aside from us paying way more than any other team. the other story lines were too good. pitt with his bros, home to GB

Maybe he'd like to live in AZ rather than Pittsburgh or Green Bay...?

Maybe he likes the idea of being a teammate to DHop, Fitz, Chandler Jones, etc.

Pitt is about to hit mediocrity for a while, but is surprising he didn’t sign with GB.

More likely nobody was stupid enough to sign him to a contract like this. Trust me I drink the look-aid 99# of the time. This signing falls under the 1% side. Hope I’m wrong.

I'm pleased.

Watt is still graded as a top interior player at his position. And I'll let @kerouac9 talk about the FBO stats (because I don't have them).

My issues are health and cap flexibility.

I assume that Chandler is being extended and restructured now.
I also assume that Fitz is back cheaper.
I also assume that Reddick will be tagged or signed long term.

With Kyler's contract, 2 years is perfect. And a 10-16mm split makes sense to me personally.

What we can also assume is that we will be very young on the back end of the defense. CB is now a top draft priority and the offense will be what it already is.

A fierce pass rush makes up for a young back end. We just MUST get to the passer. A LOT

Culture, Accountability, Leadership and I believe the production will be there.

the production hasn’t been there the last two seasons.

Guys, people with multiple back surgeries don’t get healthier as they get older... especially as they keep taking a pounding on it.

unless we have the fountain of youth and Mr. Miyagi’s Magic hands of healing, I think y’all are swooning over a name and little more than that.

Also...bring back Peters.

If the Cardinals could bring back Peters and Reddick:

OLB - Jones, Reddick, Gardeck, and ?
DE- Watt, Philips, Allen, Lawrence
DT- Peters, Fotu

That's a pretty good looking front seven that can put down a pass rush.

Do u know the pass rusher options in free agency
