Jets, Joe Tippmann agree to contract extension

The New York Jets and offensive lineman Joe Tippmann have reached an agreement on a contract extension.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, it is a four-year extension which is worth up to $62 million and includes $31M in guaranteed dollars. The deal was announced on Monday:

Tippmann, 25, was entering the final year of his rookie contract and he was set to hit free agency nest offseason. Tippmann's new contract is an average of $15.5M per, making Tippmann the 15th highest-paid center in the NFL.

Tippmann originally entered the NFL via 2023 second-round pick by New York.
