Can't confirm until there are four more threads on this signing.

Hopefully we add Cason too. I could live with PP, Cason. Powers, and Flemming

You like to move everybody :)

Something has to give, I will bet either Potter, Massie or Levi get moved into a new position. I just cant see the starting safeties as Bell and Johnson with nobody to back them up. Only seems fitting that Fleming is the backup. Was talked about when he was drafted.

Free agency is a day old and there's the draft.

He must have liked it because PFT had a story earlier saying he was "100% committed" to visiting San Diego before he decided on where to sign.

So we must have impressed him.

And now we have our starting CB opposite of PP. Nice

Hah. I like Powers, but the only thing you can count on is him not playing 16 games. Only this organization would be stupid enough to cut William Gay so they could replace him as our #2 CB with a guy who has never played more than 12 games in a season. As a #3 he is great, because for 10 games of so he can be a very good CB, but history says he won't last the season.

History cannot predict injury and none of his were to his all-important wheels.

Were you calling the FO "stupid" when they released Gay, or is this a recent conversion?

He's only the starter by default, because we cut everyone else. That doesn't make him an actual starting caliber player.

Yes, I was against the cutting of William Gay from the day we cut him because we did not have anyone of equal talent to replace him with. It was a stupid move then and is a stupid move now.
