So you're glad we passed on Adrian Peterson for Levi Brown? Cool. Cool cool cool. Please, the Cardinals shouldn't even think about drafting a running back at #3.
Monti is our GM and Bidwill, M. is our owner, so yeah. It's a given. There is going to be alot of dissapointed people here on draft day.

There's a much higher chance that he is Peterson than there is any of these RT schmoes are a Tristan Wirfs. So do you think he is Adrian Peterson?
The Cardinals needs nuts and bolts. IMO, they should trade down in the draft and draft a quarterback later.
@Mainstreet Patience is a virtue LOL

Monti has done nothing but nuts and bolts drafting and signings; he trades down for more magic beans to do so rather than taking the top talents that are right there. Hell, the entirety of FA spending on the OL and DL has been nuts and bolts spending, save the Seumalo (sp?) signing. This team needs top-end talent, not depth or JAG starters.
I understand. It's a popular opinion. Same with a S. But when I think of guys like Ed Reed and Adrian Peterson and then other guys like Najee Harris and Terrell Edmunds (both drafted by the Stillers later in the 1st round), I know what level of talent I want to target.I don't think drafting a running back early is the answer. It would be like having dessert before the meal. I think we can agree, I don't have a lot of confidence in Monti.

We shouldn’t be drafting a slow footed tackle at #3 either. Nobody is trading up to #3. Take the best player. Please, the Cardinals shouldn't even think about drafting a running back at #3.

BPA for me realistically is Love or Bailey. Everyone needs explosive edges. I like Reese but he needs perfect development.Generally I have a draft BPA available philosophy but I'm not sure who that is. If the Cardinals can trade down, I like more bites at the apple. If the Cardinals want to swing away, at least go after need.

I just can't see going after a running back early in the draft with the Cardinals being so needy. They need to be drafting safe picks if they stay at #3 unless they move down in the draft. Quality running backs are usually found later.
You have to be thinking you are two - three years from competing in this division. So if we take an excellent skill position player and then just hammer the lines after that I am okay with it. The preferred plan is punting on round 1 entirely
I'm hoping the Cardinals find a taker and move down in the draft for more picks. Wish I had more confidence in their drafting, but I don't. I'm kind of thinking, move down for more darts to throw the board and grab a quarterback along the way.
Sure, if you can draft well. Do you have faith in Monti to draft well later in the 1st round?I feel like there’s a greater range of outcomes than you’re positing here
No they don’t why would you think and say this?Everyone picks out of fear
See, my argument is that if you don’t have confidence in Monti you want him to take the talent with less warts. Less chance for him to screw it up. By all accounts love has fewer warts than any olineman in the draft. Don’t let him Monti-this-up.I don't think drafting a running back early is the answer. That hasn’t worked in the past for Monte, why would it work this time?I'm hoping the Cardinals find a taker and move down in the draft for more picks.
