The Rams and Browns waited little time to make what is almost certainly going to be the biggest trade of the NFL offseason with Myles Garrett heading to Los Angeles in exchange for Jared Verse and draft compensation.
It's not often that a two-time Pro Bowler and former Rookie of the Year gets dealt before even starting a third NFL season. But still, Verse was quick to show his appreciation to the Rams.
Just minutes after the Garrett trade hit social media, Verse was already prepared to react on Instagram. He took to his Instagram Story with a repost of the trade news and wrote his goodbye message as a caption.
"Thank you for everything LA," Verse wrote.
It couldn't have been the news he anticipated, but that's just the nature of the Rams' aggressive front office.
