Doug,

Excellent analysis in general but i have little disagreement with it in respect to Dan Williams. You say that your happy with his build in regard to his 'fireplug' physicality but i think this in one dimension could cause him trouble if he doesnt adjust at least a fair a bit. At the moment his build and a lot of his strength is in his legs and backside which is very important to give him that strong base and superb grounding he needs when taking on extremely heavyset line-men. However he currently lacks a lot of upper body strength which experienced line-man will use to eat him up. They will use their long arms and strong hands as well as their superior upper body build to muscle him out of the way and he will become and easy pray for the center and if necessary the guard. If they learn quickly that they can dispose of him this easily he will allow the offensive line to gain quick leverage over our D but eliminating him from the game. I know this is too much and too far a projection at the moment but i feel he needs to gain A LOT of upper body strenghth in order for him to succeed. The reason why i think the Cards probably dont see this as much of an issue is because Dan can comfortably gain some weight (he weighed in at 350 when he started at Tennessee, and i dont mean he needs to add weight but its natural his height goes up if he adds upper body strenght) but more importantly they know he can gain upper body muscle and strength as he is a very hard worker and extremely motivated guy. This is the reason why the Cardinals place such a heavy emphasis on that latter attitude as it will make it easier for them to coach the rookie into what he needs to do and for that they look for this type of character. Im confident that Dan can do it but it is imperative he does for him to succeed.

Monty, apparently you didn't realize that we no longer have Robinson.

Yeah i guess i shoul've pointed that we haven't re-signed Robinson but im not 100% if there is no chance we bring him back if we dont have no other options at NT. I think the Cards would like a bit more depth at NT then just Gabe Watson and Williams.
