Guess you are not familiar withe stats like yards passing, TDs and TDs to picks ratio? The goal is to have a QB who gains passing yards. The last pick was fault of Wilson. He is always on the NFL network start em category. I think he was number one this past weekend. He is what a QB looks like. He is the anti-Murray who is look at number one receiver and if covered dump to a back. Murray will not stand in the pocket and take the hits. I would much rather have Brisssett than any rookie available in the draft.

You are hung up on labels. Brissett to you is a back up. Kurt Warner was a back up too. Why are you so in love with a QB who the league has figured out. Every player has to evolve. Murray wants to play the same backyard football he has played his entire life. There is so much knocking of the OC. It was a terrible job with Murray as QB. The OC calls a play and as soon as Murray felt pressure he improvised. Who wants to be an OC when yor QB never runs your plays. As soon as Murray felt pressure he was running 20 yards deep behind the line and throwing off his back foot instead of stepping up. I will give you a label, productivity. I dont care what name tag the player is wearing as long as he is productive. Productive for a QB is yards, completions and TDs.

JB has made the offense better but Kurt Warner was a backup? He was one of the best QB's in NFL history with the Rams. The reason we got him was all the injuries made him look completely washed, hell I thought he was when we signed him too.

JB has never had the act 1 that Kurt had

As DaveS pointed out dude, we had the best OL in the league under Coryell.

Dierdorf, Finnie, Banks, Dobler and Young. 8 sacks in 1975 the entire 14 game season with Jim Hart at QB who made JB look like Usain Bolt.

Young was on those offseason strongest man in the world contests he was a power lifter, Banks was the best C in the NFL, Dierdorf was great, Finnie was sort of the unknown guy but he was the LT not Dierdorf.

Wow per his Wiki page he was a 14th round pick by the Jets as a defensive tackle. The jets converted him to Guard and TE, and then the Cards got him and converted him to tackle. They led the NFL in fewest sacks allowed 3 years and the NFC 5 straight years. To be fair part of that was Hart was really good at getting rid of the ball under pressure

He's a full practice heading into Dallas, they announce he will dress but won't start... they promptly announce he won't dress, Brisket isn't awful, Kyler to the IR with an injury that had been week to week. Later, he could come off the IR, but he seeks outside consultants that rule him out. The team makes it clear that outside doctors ruled him out.

I don't know how else to take it.

If he had a real lasting injury I think both sides would be pushing it home. "He's out because he has a lisfranc injury" or turf toe... whatever. But this is so deliberately vague. The only message I can take away is that "it's over."

I don't think he knows how to deal with adversity. He checks out.

I hear you, there’s only one stat that matters, and that’s W’s. I get people are ready to move on from Kyler. Still crazy if Zay Jones doesn’t drop a first down pass, and if Emari Demercado holds the ball before crossing the goal line, Kyler is 4-0 before getting injured.

There’s a real scenario we end up in QB hell while he goes on to succeed, especially if given a competent HC.

I've been a fan since 1947, and my memory fails me often. But, it seems that this might be the most injury plagued season, ever. And, if not ever, it's right up there near the top. My point being is that all the injuries makes it near impossible to evaluate the performance of the team and the coaches. JMO.

Convenient how you didn't stand up for his moxie, though. He has no moxie. He has no guts. He has no heart. He has shown us that repeatedly. He works hard at the physical aspects of his job and has incredible athleticism. That is all. He's a lower-average starter in the league. I'm sure he'll start again somewhere, but won't win a playoff game and likely won't play in one.

Exactly. Who better to be a vet backup to start the season and help develop a young QBOF? One of the reasons to move and get one this year.
