Long. Very predictable. The actors playing Jack and the princess were certainly less than engaging. Saw some chop in the CGI in a place or two.

All that being said, it was relatively entertaining. Certainly not the best movie in the world, but I didn't feel it was a waste of money. It seemed to be geared heavily towards children.

3 out of 5 stars.

1) The opening was abysmal. Cheap Saturday morning animation that was beyond awful.
2) NO chemistry whatsoever between Jack and the princess.
3) Really quite stupid in most respects. Only saving grace was Bill Nighy, and he was just a voice on a cool looking giant except for that ridiculously stupid 2nd head he had.
4) Ian McShane needs to get back to his take-no-prisoners cynical and sarcastic persona.
5) Ewan MacGregor, WHY?
