Their top 100 picks included No. 4 (Marvin Harrison Jr.), No. 27 (Darius Robinson), No. 43 (Max Melton), No. 66 (Trey Benson), No. 71 (Isaiah Adams), and No. 90 (Elijah Jones)

Wanna compare this to a Rams draft?
lol we're not the rams but isaiah and elijah is the only crap i see

everybody wanted marv - d-rob is still unfortunately tbd - melton is playing good starting this early believe it or not - and i like benson too

the season is disappointing sure

At 2-5 there are NO moral victories!
Just win!
Nobody else cares!
I don't think this is really true.

Close losses indicate you at least have some talent, and means turning that in to winning isn't that far away. That does mean something.

Even with this lousy season, I feel Far Far better about this team than the one we had 2 years ago.

6 players in the top 100 - not one of them is an above average player at this point. Just because people wanted Marv doesn't make him the right pick - GM's are supposed to be the smart ones, right? D-Rob is a joke. Barely an NFL player. Melton is ok, Elijah is one of the worst picks in recent memory, and Benson is an injury prone 3rd down back.

If you are trying to rebuild through the draft, this is a joke.

No. I get everyone is pissed at how this year has gone, but in my opinion even so it is clear this coaching staff is better than Kliff's.
I don't know how you can say that is clear. What makes this staff better than a staff that, you know, actually won and made the playoffs?

DRob and Adams absorb most of the ire from that draft class, but Melton has been low-key awful, too. Dude has been pretty bad in coverage, and he has a 24% missed tackle rate. Monti Time!!!

Another way to say it: Is this the worst coached good team ever?
I think the talent on this team has been overstated, and the coaching decisions that the overstatement is internal as well. One of the big issues is that in key situations there isn't a player on the roster to make a play. This team doesn't have game-wreckers outside of McBride.

It's turning out that the two condom offense and Klayton Adams actually propped up the talent level on the offensive line.

The struggles of Kyler clouded the talent of the WR room.

The lack of pass rush from the fixed DL room is overstated when you look at who the Cardinals are actually playing on the field. The secondary looks like it will be good but is also VERY inexperienced at CB.

Why aren't CBs making Ints? Because they are still too worried about playing with the right technique, and not getting beat deep. They are inexperienced.

Back the original post here. This is wild! Makes the Titans lose hurt even more.

They’re also genuinely 2 plays from being 0-7. Hang the banner.
That shows the small difference between winning and losing. We could also be 7 and 0. We lost last week's game because of a stupid mental error by Demercado. We lost this week's game because of stupid mental error by JG.

Granted, it's like saying "That was the best dumpster fire ever" but serious.

In the 5 defeats we have a total point differential of -14. We may be the only 2-5 team in history to only have a -2 point differential on the season.

There's no one issue. Bad QB play earlier in the year. Defense not being able to get stops when needed (that 4th down last night was brutal). injuries have been a factor, especially Conner, I think we win the last 2 games with Connor in the team. There have been some bad coaching decisions too. There's no part of the team that's performing as it should consistently, but also, none of them are terrible.

I don't think any opponent looks at this team as an easy game, which is saying something for a 2-5 team. Nobody that's played us has had an easy game.

I know the record looks gloomy, but this team is genuinely 5 plays from being undefeated. A single pass completed or a pass defensed in each game it's the difference. It's the weirdest season.
I know we’re better than the Baltimore Ravens :)

I also know this will be the reason Mike Bidwill runs it back and keeps everything the same :)

i was thinking about this last night - if we can add an insane 2026 draft to this roster..
Think of how thrilling it will be next year come week 5 or so hoping we open the practice window for new high picks!!

It's not the margins of the losses or how close we are to almost winning. It's the fact that this was the easy part of our schedule and we have lost games that we should have won decisively. We have fallen apart in the fourth quarter in almost every game.

Based on the fact that the Cards are 18th (points) and 22nd (yards) on offense, and 14th / 19th on defense, maybe they should be 3-4 instead of 2-5 (and they WOULD be 3-4 if not for the ridiculous loss to the Titans). But they're a below average team for sure, so by no means is their 2-5 record a historic outlier.
