Is New England Patriots star cornerback Marcus Jones in line for another All-Pro season as a punt returner in 2026?

Jones’ performance as a punt returner last season was a thing of beauty to behold. The Louisiana native went for 363 punt return yards in 2025. He led the NFL in punt return touchdowns last season with two. Jones became the all-time career leader in yards per punt return with 14.3 yards.

The 27-year-old is a two-time All-Pro honoree as a punt returner in his career. Jones was named a First-Team All-Pro honoree in 2022 as a rookie, and he received a Second-Team All-Pro nod in 2025.

Next season projects to be more of the same from Jones. He was the only player to receive punt returns for New England last season, even with seven Patriots players having received kick returns.

Jones projects to turn 25 punt returns into 400 punt return yards next season and receive First-Team All-Pro honors at the position.
