Though Cowboy Stadium is currently exempt from the rolling power outages, Dallas (and Texas) is buying electricity from Mexco because of the increased need for power. This could be sooo much fun!

Florida didnt get a scratch. My dad lives by Orlando and he keeps calling me saying Son hows the wether in Ill. Its 76 here today and i am wearing shorts. Life sucks today Huh Son. LOL .

Yeah, my parents are in Englewood, south of Sarasota, and they told me all about how they enjoyed their day yesterday and how they went fishing and whatnot. I know my dad does NOT miss the northeast.

For some reason I just dont hate Jerry Jones. I'd love for him to be our owner. He has satan on his side!

Kiss my boots!!!!!!

I don't hate him either, though that definitely makes us in the major minority here.

The fact that you consider rainy and overcast horrible weather makes me hate you just a little bit.

LOL!

It's not always a choice...hence our decision to move to Minnesota (from Colorado) this past December.

(Family issues.)

I do have a great view of the frozen Mississippi river from where I'm typing this however...

That sounds like something I would do.:D

I feel for ya CC. I spent 40 years in that area and finally moved to Phoenix because I couldn't handle the cold weather anymore.

I love that snow and miserable conditions are ruining Dallas being able to host the SuperBowl this year.. Everyone is complaining from Dallas/Ft Worth/Arlington.. And to top it off its a GB/Pitt SuperBowl that pisses Jerry Jones off.. Im not sure if this could any worse for them/better for us.. HA HA HA and oh ya HA!
We don't agree on much but on this, we are in complete agreement.

About an inch of snow in Austin so far this morning. Still coming down.

Odd weather as the moisture is coming from the South instead of the North or West as in the past.

San Antonio is covered in ice.

A major reason the Cotton Bowl has been relegated to 2nd class status. Like to froze to death at the Texas Tennessee game one year.

But for those who are gloating it is supposed to be 50+ and sunshine Saturday and Sunday and the PGA just canceled the Pro Am at the PHX Open today because the Golf Course is frozen. I'll never forget the PGA having to cancel a Champions Tour event in PHX one April because of snow!

78 degrees in Austin last Saturday. 22 degrees today. Snow maybe tomorrow. 60 degrees and Sunshine by Sunday. Gotta love Texas weather.

I've been in Houston with sidewalks caked in ice, it was like a rink.

Texas gets ice and snow as well, you will never see Phoenix with sidewalks so covered in ice that you risk injury to get out of your house. I've been there while living in Texas.

Huge sheets of ice and snow are coming off the roof of Cowboy Stadium and injuring people below. Not good.

Not often. Texans are so special Mother Nature puts our snow in the Rockie Mountains for us to enjoy without having to live with it.

I remember once it got to 75 degrees in Milwaukee one August. 23,219 people were treated for heat stroke.

What a glorious day that was. The problem was that we had to take all the cows into the barn and the manure started to smell like you wouldn't believe. At least when it's frozen it doesn't smell nearly as bad. That day was a big deal for me, because my dad let me have my first beer and we got totally wasted while on the tractor together. Best day of my seven year old life up to that point.

Wisconsin sucks..

Not if you have a thing for really large women and like having a bar on every street corner.

Actually it's a beautiful state. For about 6 weeks a year.

If you're a chubby chaser and/or alcoholic it's great year round.

In all seriousness though summer is great and fall is okay. Winter blows the big one, and spring is still the worst season

I've been to Sheboygan in May and steam is coming out of the ground as it thaws out.

Can't imagine what it would be like to go to 10 football games a year in freezing temps. But it is great to be able to go bar hopping, have a few adult beverages, without driving, and not worry about being harassed by the Police for PI or smoking.

Must have just occurred recently. We were just there in 2009 and people were smoking everywhere.

Honestly, I just want the Super Bowl in Glendale as often as possible. That means the NFL needs to stop putting in any city that builds a stadium. Make the NFL look like fools a few times for having people pay thousands of dollars to go somewhere that you can't do anything but watch the game and they will go back to putting the games in warm weather cities. I hope that there is a blizzard in Indy and NY for their Super Bowls too.

Yesterday I went golfing and on a hike. I'm about to go golfing again today. Tomorrow it will be 72 and sunny. How's Dallas tomorrow? 42 with a rain/snow mix. Good job NFL.
