There are a few of my favorites mentioned already. But some other players I really liked:

Zach Walz (used to hang out with Pat Tillman at Charlie's Espresso on Mill Ave. He tipped, Tillman never tipped. :) )

Frank Sanders

Jamir Miller

It used to be pretty easy to talk to players in the SDS days with camp at NAU. Now I don't even try and haven't tried in a long time.

Sean Morey. Met him at training camp. He took time talking to family and hanging out with us. Then he waived Warner and Fitz over after practice to banter with my young boys (ages 6 and 8) for a while and take pictures. My boys still talk about that day.

One of the best things I ever saw at SDS was the time a fan got onto the field and ran toward the players. Jax planted the guy into the ground with no hesitation.
He once picked my daughter (she was probably 4 or 5) out of a crowd and sat her in his lap as he signed autographs after the red and white game on Flagstaff. So from viscous to softy. Heck of a nice guy.

Tommy Bennett. Really cool dude at Cards camp up in Flagstaff in late 90’s. Big part of 98 team. Got hurt a year later and then disappeared. He was the guy in the last regular season game of 98 who was really firing up the team before the game. I still have the 1998 team video on VHS.

Marcel Shipp's such a good answer. I really loved watching that guy play. I definitely remember Reggie Wells... for a 6th round pick, he crushed it.

I had irrational love for Matt Leinart though. I wore his jersey to the Super Bowl. I still kinda feel like Whisenhunt did him dirty.

My granddaughter had one too, cheering for Warner on the screen!

I am a huge LJ Shelton stan.
Such a great kid. He bought a bed and some furniture from us when we had our family business in Tempe. We got to his place in Ahwatukee, and he had locked the house keys inside but knew he didn't lock one of the back doors to the place. I've never before or since see a huge guy clear a backyard fence quicker than he did.

Back the AOL days, someone set up a phone line so we could talk to Sheldon. I asked him some stupid question! Don't remember what I asked him... Might have been about Charlie Batch

Good times
