SIOUX CITY, IA (KCAU) – Iowa softball hosted its last matchup of the regular season with Purdue for senior day, and lost 7-5.
To begin the 5th inning, the Hawkeyes held a 5-2 lead. But the tables quickly turned as the Boilermakers scored 5 in the final three innings.
Iowa loses the series 2-1 and misses out on a trip to the Big 10 Tournament, ending their season 27-27.
