One of Iowa basketball's reported transfer portal targets has instead picked a different destination.

Former Belmont big Drew Scharnowski has committed to Duke. A 6-foot-9, 230-pound forward, Scharnowski averaged 10.7 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game last season on 68.1% field goal shooting. Scharnowski was named first-team All-Missouri Valley Conference and to the MVC All-Defensive Team.

On3's Joe Tipton reported the news that Scharnowski had chosen the Blue Devils.
