Iowa basketball picks up recruiting prediction to land 2027 PF

Iowa basketball is still looking for its first 2027 commit.

Based on one prediction, that should soon change for the Hawkeyes. Nick Osen of Badger247 submitted a 247Sports crystal ball prediction for Iowa to land recent visitor Keller Daugherty.

A 6-foot-10, 205-pound forward out of Lee's Summit High School in Missouri, Daugherty visited Iowa this week, per the Des Moines Register's Tyler Tachman.

Daugherty is ranked as a three-star, as the nation's No. 27 power forward and as the No. 6 player in Missouri in the 2027 class, per 247Sports. In the 247Sports composite rankings, Daugherty checks in as the country's 153rd-ranked player overall.

In addition to Lee's Summit High School, Daugherty is also a member of VWBA Elite on the AAU circuit. Daugherty recently picked up an offer from Oklahoma. The Missouri product also has offers from Drake, Iona and Colorado State.
