Iowa basketball is one of the final six schools for four-star point guard Jaxson Davis.
Rivals' Joe Tipton broke the news that Iowa is one of the finalists for Davis. Joining Iowa as Davis' other five finalists are Ohio State, Michigan State, Minnesota, Creighton and Marquette.
The 6-foot-1 point guard is ranked as the nation's No. 35 player, as the No. 10 point guard and as the top player in Kansas, per 247Sports. According to Rivals, Davis is rated as the No. 54 player nationally and as the No. 15 point guard. Davis is a consensus four-star prospect.
Davis is set for an official visit to Iowa on Sept. 19. He is also slated to visit Michigan State on Oct. 1.
Davis recently transferred from Warren Township High School in Gurnee, Ill., to the newly-formed Monarch Academy in Kansas City, Kan., in Nike’s EYBL Scholastic League.
In his junior season at Warren Township, Davis averaged 23.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 3.5 steals per game. Davis was named the 2026 Chicago Sun-Times Player of the Year.
