The Cardinals like to run the football. With a quality RB and an improved offensive line, I don't expect them to start running less.
In addition, the Cardinals finished 12th in total defense last year. Miami finished 8th. Tampa Bay finshed 5th. In addition, I would say that the Cardinals defense should be significantly improved this year, while Tampa's and Miami's will not.
The Cardinals Defense in 05 will be very much on par with Miami's and Tampa's defenses. I don't think the idea that the Dolphins and Bucs defenses are "superior" to the Cardinals is accurate.

You know not of which you speak.
The Cards D improved to 12th overall last year. Aside from Berry, they've added Chike Okafor to play the other end. In the middle, Darnell Dockett is a beast.
The LB core is crazy deep as well: Dansby, Hayes, Huff are your likely starters with Darling, Blackstock and Lance Mitchell providing quality depth.
Rolle and Macklin make for a nice CB tandem. Tate and Green provide solid depth. Adrian Wilson will challenge for a pro-bowl spot this year and Griffith is solid at the other safety spot.
Also keep in mind that the Cardinals have one of the best defensive coordinator's in the game in Clancy Pendergrass. Pendergrass is likely future head coach material.
In short, the Cardinal's defense and not their offense will be the strength of this team. Don't be surprised at all to see the Cardinal's defense be one of the top stories early in the NFL season. They'll be top 10. Write it down and take it to the bank.

If your talking about their first round pick.. he just got in camp, so i don't see rolle making a huge impact with that defense this year, maybe next. so outside of berry, i don't think that d is scaring anyone QUOTE

Trying to correct the notion of "The cards offense has great potential, but there defense is below average" that everyone seems to have.
