The Indianapolis Colts are back in the win column, as they cruised to an easy victory over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 5.

With the game having just wrapped up, let's dive into our instant takeaways from the Colts' performance.

- Another very efficient showing from Daniel Jones. The Colts leaned on some quick passing concepts in the first half and Jones' command of the offense was on display with his ability to operate smoothly within the timing and rhythm of the play.

- The Colts came out throwing the ball in this game. Jones had 24 pass attempts at halftime, while Jonathan Taylor had only 24 rushing yards. Indianapolis then leaned more into the running game in the second half with a lead as they wore the Raiders' defense down.

- Maxx Crosby is a game-wrecker, but the Colts did well to not let that happen. The quick passing game was part of that, as were some chips and double-teams, but good execution up front by the Colts.

- Shane Steichen was non-committal all week when it came to AD Mitchell's playing time. Ashton Dulin would then end up getting the start and play throughout the game with Alec Pierce out.

- It's no surprise, but opponents aren't throwing Charvarius Ward's direction at all.

- Then, as expected, Mekhi Blackmon started opposite of Ward in this game. He had the third quarter interception. Johnathan Edwards got a few snaps as well.

- Unfortunately, more injuries for the Colts to navigate. Mike Hilton was ruled out early with a shoulder injury and so was kicker Spencer Shrader. In Hilton's place at the nickel was Chris Lammons. Rigoberto Sanchez handled kickoffs.

- Without Shrader, the Colts' two-point conversion playbook got some work in this game.

- Stat-wise, it's been a quieter start to the season for Josh Downs, but he was second on the team in receiving in this game with 54 yards. Two of Downs' receptions were impressive third-down conversions as well.

- We saw some different looks from Lou Anarumo's defense today. He's known for mixing things up, but perhaps this is also a product of the players getting more in-game experience in his system.

- We often see plenty of two tight end looks from the Colts' offense, but we saw our share of three tight end looks in this game as Indianapolis tried to overpower the Las Vegas defense in certain situations.

- The WILL linebacker rotation continues. Joe Bachie is handling more early down situations, while Austin Ajiake saw more pass-heavy down and distances. Chad Muma was worked in as well. This is a position where the Colts are still searching for answers.

- Grover Stewart's impact won't always show up on the stat sheet, but today he played a key role in two important plays. First was the Laiatu Latu interception that Stewart deflected, and then on the fourth-down stop in the third quarter.

- The Colts' defense entered this game tied for seventh in takeaways and they added two more to that total with a pair of interceptions. The special teams unit also had a blocked punt.

- It was better, but the Colts were still penalized too much in this game. Fortunately, with how this game unfolded, those penalties didn't hurt the Colts all that much like they did a week ago.

- The Colts ended up dropping a lot of points on the Raiders, but they were held scoreless in the first quarter for the first time this season.

- The red zone on both sides of the ball has been an issue at times through the first month. But the offense was perfect, finding the end zone on each possession, while the Raiders' offense didn't score a touchdown on either visit.

- Ashton Jeanty was productive, but the Colts were able to limit any explosive running plays from him. His longest carry was 12 yards. Playing with a multi-score lead for much of the day also significantly impacted the Raiders' ability to run the ball as they played catch-up.

- The Colts generated four sacks, but for what it's worth, the defense generated just 12 pressures, according to PFF's early tracking data.
