It appears as if the Buffalo Bills could have some confidence in their kicking game ahead of the postseason.

The Bills (12-5) visit the Jacksonville Jaguars (13-4) in the upcoming wild-card round. In Buffalo's season finale, veteran kicker Matt Prater (quad) exited the game because of injury but it appears he will be good to go on Sunday.

Earlier this week, head coach Sean McDermott called Prater "day-to-day."

Prater then told reporters, according to the Buffalo News, his departure from Week 18 against the New York Jets was "precautionary."

The Bills then had a positive update on Thursday's injury report. Prater was listed as a full participant, indicating he will play in Jacksonville.

Bills HC Sean McDermott says K Matt Prater is "more day to day, which is a good sign, but we're still going to, more than likely, bring some kickers in tomorrow for a workout."

Without Prater in Week 18, the Bills were forced to go for two-point conversions multiple times. On the season, Buffalo only has a 22.22 percent success rate on those attempts.

Having a veteran kicker like Prater, 41, as someone to be confident in? That is profitable.

Bills Wire will continue to provide updates throughout the postseason.
