The latest Test debutant for India, Manav Suthar, has hit the ground running against Afghanistan at New Chandigarh. He took his first wicket in his opening over of the game and ended Day 2 with three victims, putting Afghanistan in a position where they could score 113/5 in reply to India's total of 564/8.
On Day 2, Suthar had three wickets to his name after dismissing Abdul Malik, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, and Afsar Zazai. At the start of Day 3, the spinner took three more wickets in quick succession to achieve a rare historic feat for India.
