Indiana men’s basketball is going to need plenty of additions through the transfer portal this offseason as head coach Darian DeVries launches his second roster reload in as many seasons in Bloomington.

We’ll be looking to get ahead of some targets here with brief profiles if there’s an established connection to Indiana, DeVries or his staff. Only players who’ve either stated their intentions to enter the portal or are already in will be covered, we’re not gonna overstep there.

G Rowan Brumbaugh – 6’4”, 185 lbs

  • Former program: Tulane, Georgetown
  • Statline: 19.2 PTS, 4.9 REB, 3.5 AST

Brumbaugh will be entering his fourth season of college basketball in 2026-27 after spending the previous two seasons starring at Tulane. His career began at Georgetown in 2023-24, where he played off of the bench in Ed Cooley’s first season with the Hoyas. Before Georgetown, he was briefly enrolled at Texas.

He’s put up impressive numbers during his time with the Green Wave and has experience at the high major level from that first season at Georgetown. He also improved during his second season with Tulane, taking a scoring leap with a modest drop in his assist stats as he shouldered more of the offense himself.

Should he transfer to Indiana, his role would likely depend on backcourt pairing as he’d almost certainly be a starter. He has the passing bonafides to run the Hoosiers’ offense and the scoring to start at shooting guard next to a true point. DeVries started two point guards for the first few games of the season and may be inclined to try it again.
