The upcoming 2026 Asian Games will take place in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, from September 19 till October 4, with India being the gold medalist country participating in the men's cricket event.
BCCI representatives have announced a 15-member squad list to the Indian Olympic Association (IOA).

India Asian Games 2026 squad confirmed
The 15-member squad includes teenage batting prodigy Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. The 15-year-old has had quite an ascent so far and is recognised by many as being one of the most promising T20 prospects from India.
Shreyas Iyer has taken over the T20I captaincy from Suryakumar Yadav. SKY has been snubbed from the side altogether, while the likes of Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Varma, Rinku Singh, Axar Patel, and Arshdeep Singh have retained their spots.
It should be highlighted that ODI/Tests captain Shubman Gill has not been considered for this format.
