This is an easy one for me, since my favorite comic actor is also my favorite actor of all-time:

Charlie Chaplin (DUH)

Honorable Mentions:
Jim Carrey
Robin Williams
Bill Murray
Eddie Murphy
John Cleese
Groucho Marx
Peter Sellers
Ricky Gervais

Groucho Marx
Chevy Chase
Chevy Chase is a good one, but my opinion is tainted knowing how much of a jerk he is in real life.

Oh, and I probably should have put down Nick Offerman as one of my Honorable Mentions. After all, he was IMO the actor portraying damn near the best comic character in the history of television.

I thought we had a thread for comedy duo?? I dunno, cant find it.

not a duo, but I saw a show the other day that brought some pretty funny shows back to memory...

The Bowery Boys..

Man when I was a kid I used to watch these guys every saturday afternoon.... clean comedy...rare, very hard to find in the modern world.

this clip isnt actually much for funny but it gives a basic feel for the type of movies... The Bowery boys were kinda like if the little rascals were all grown up...
