I listened to the Peter Frampton version again before posting. However, I liked this version slightly better because of the singer's strong voice. It recently caught my attention on the radio.

That's not the version that played on the radio where I grew up. But I find it hilarious anyway.
Not so much for political reasons...but because the lyrics fit so well with the original song.
