Class 2A's final, set for 7 p.m. at Illinois Field, will see St. Joseph-Ogden – looking to reap the benefits of home-field advantage being from Champaign County – battle Elgin Harvest-Westminster, playing in their first-ever state baseball tournament.
Up in Joliet, the Class 3A final pits Troy Triad, last year's third-place finishers, against Chicago St. Rita, seeking a first state title after three runner-up finishes.
Class 4A's championship game was moved up by the Illinois High School Association due to the potential for inclement weather in the area, with a 4 p.m. start time scheduled. Defending state champion Libertyville will take on Park Ridge Maine South, playing in their first state tournament since 1966.
Here's a look at the action from the diamond:

Weather delays are also impacting the Class 3A final at Slammers Stadium, with play set to resume at 2:40 p.m.
St. Rita is playing in their seventh state tournament, finishing second three times in 2009, 2010 and 2014. Their last appearance came in 2019, finishing third.
Triad is playing in their second straight state tournament and third overall, having already clinched the best performance in school history with a 2-0 win over Crystal Lake South Friday. They finished third in last years tournament.
Weather concerns have forced the IHSA to move up the start of the championship game to 4 p.m., with the third place game between Naperville Central and Chicago Mt. Carmel being played following.
Libertyville won their first state title in school history last year, beating McHenry 4-1 in the Class 4A title game. They have played in four state tournaments, making it to the championship game in each one.
