So can the Cardinals. As a lifelong Knicks fan, they always had piss poor ownership & a piss poor front office. They were a hideous franchise for the better part of 5 decades. But, somehow, someway, they hired the right GM, the right head coach, and brought in a few players that were talented and played with grit. They may not win another championship anytime soon, but at least I got to finally celebrate a championship. It’s been a minute. I was 15 when they won their last one lol. If someone told me a few years ago that the Knicks would win a championship, I would have laughed.

Congrats PA! Didn't know you were a Knicks fan. Despite my hatred for your team. it's well deserved. At least you got some joy for your fandom! Maybe one day we'll taste the juice.

Thanks Philly. I was initially a Sixers fan in the mid 60’s when Chamberlain was there. I have always hated the Celtics & Lakers, so I couldn’t root for the Lakers when Chamberlain went there. I do remember celebrating when the Sixers won the 67 championship, but once Wilt left, I became a Knicks fan when they drafted Clyde Frazier, Willis Reed, and traded for Dave DeBusschere. Those early 70’s Knicks teams were so much fun, especially when we traded for Earl the Pearl Monroe from the then Baltimore Bullets. Earl was one of my all time faves. I wore #15 throughout my high school years.

This

Earl was one of my favorite players not on my team at the time

He had a flat shot, but made it work

It must be terrible not to have the ability to dream...:(
Its free and completely irrational.

The Knicks are storied franchise.

The Cards greatest claim to fame is that we were up with 2mins to go in a Super Bowl we lost.

I love Kurt Warner with all my heart but he threw a pick that ultimately cost us the game.
Absolutely brutal that he was the reason we were there and also the reason we lost.
