Imagine if DJ, Kirk and Fitz were in an offense that put them in favorable positions? The Cardinals have plenty of talent to be competitive IMO.
Imagine if our wide receiver could catch a freaking ball thrown to them..

Man, you love defending a under-average at best QB his whole career like Bradford, but not sold on a actual good QB like Mahomes. I don’t get it.Let Rosen sit for a year and then give him Kelce, Hunt, Hill and Watkins in a fully functional offense and he'd probably look pretty good too. Mahommes has next level arm strength but I don't know that he has next level QB'ing skills like reading a defense, manipulating coverage, timing, anticipation, etc. I think he's getting by on athletic skill and that can look extremely tantalizing and unstoppable but I'm not convinced yet. RGIII and Kaepernick both looked unstoppable early in their careers too.

I spent a lot of time defending Bradford because he was in a bad situation with bad coaching and bad personnel and taking blame for things that were not necessarily his fault or within his control.Man, you love defending a under-average at best QB his whole career like Bradford, but not sold on a actual good QB like Mahomes. Rodgers is frequently hailed as otherworldly but at this point, I think he needs some tough love or forced to re-focus in a new system or something. His athletic ability and arm are still great but look at how stagnant he and that offense get. I mean, when he hurt his leg and had to focus and the offense had to focus, they did some magical, productive stuff. Last week they mostly kicked FG's. I don't know what it is but he seems to be bored or disinterested or...something. I don't think he's been playing to his full potential or the offense has become too reliant on him.RGIII and Kaepernick looked great with their mobile/scrambling skills till people got tape on that one trick pony, which means their actual throwing strengths where minimal and easy to identify after reviewing them. Rosen in his debut was making the full range of NFL passes from a traditional template with no bonus 'what if' in an attempt to cloak his limitations by going outside of the pocket, which means he is not a product of a defense breaking down or a scheme. How does one scheme against his touch passes and laser shots into coverage, you do not. Heck, Rosen is reading defenses now better than Kap ever did his entire career because he is intent on throwing the ball into the actual scheme of a NFL defense. Rosen manipulates the actual defense with his arm and mentality, and not his legs to put it in flux so he can prosper. Rosen is not a 'sandlot" QB who is only comfortable in certain throwing situations. Tape does not inhibit a guy who can make all the throws from the pocket like one who prospers off the ad lib, unless you are a rare QB like Aaron Rodgers who can scramble or stay in the pocket and needs no special situation to dismantle a defense... strange, but when the league stops a guy through watching tape, it's more about what the defense does not do to provide the QB an advantage where he's shown to excel

He may be great and able to succeed moreso than any other QB in a one dimensional, predictable situation but just as Warner learned the hard way, if you take away even the hint of a running game you're probably going to struggle against good teams.
i basically agree but I'm not fully vested in that POV. There have been at least a couple of different occasions in recent memory where Rodgers really buckled down and played some incredible within that offense. Which makes me question him more than the offense.McCarthy is the problem in Green Bay, not Rodgers. If you watch the offense run, it is not very innovative especially when you have a special talent at QB like Rodgers. There is no reason Green By couldn't be running an offense similar to KC. They just choose not to.

Maybe those are just instances of him overcoming the offense but in either case, I think a fresh situation would benefit him. He is great but he isn't above coaching and criticism but I think he is exempt from it where he's at.

Brady has had the most successful career, but Rodgers is the most talented player to ever play the position. Rodgers can make all the throws Brady makes. Brady cannot make all the throws Rodgers can. Hell, not even Peyton, Montana, or Morino can make throws Rodgers has done in his career. If Mahomes lives up to his potential, he will surpass Rodgers in the most talented department.Rodgers is special in his athletic ability and how he is able to apply that ability. That's key, he can actually apply that ability with accuracy and all the other aspects which makes one a franchise QB and not just a strong arm chunking scud missiles. I honestly did not think much of Mahomes in the draft because I absolutely did not like his accuracy when looking what he did in college in wide open windows compared to what is required in the NFL, but so far he is making me look like an idiot for doubting him or rather Andy Reid apparently knows how to groom a QB for his approach to offense and trade spare parts ala Kolb. Really, if Kolb did not have concussion problems, the guy would have been a solid QB but I think Reid knew that unfortunate exception to his worth all along. I will say one thing, Rodgers is no Tom Brady. Rodgers is great but Brady is other world exceptional on so many levels which earns him and Montana the word GOAT. I think Rosen has a stronger arm than Brady but not the arm Rodgers has, but he still has a NFL arm due to his picture perfect form. Rodgers does have Mahomme's arm strength but still throws a prettier pass than Pat. These are all opinion of course and I am no expert by a long shot... but there is a lot so far to suggest Rosen can be pretty special

John Elway isn’t even the most talented QB in Broncos history, let alone rivaling Rodgers.I will argue that actually Rodgers does have a rival in talent and his name is John Elway![]()

+1We shall see.
