I hated the Rosen pick. If this continues, I’m happy to eat crow.

It will keep up... someone from the NFC has to battle the Mayfields and Mahomes of the world for the next 15 years in Superbowls....

It's all about the situation. Having Rosen unexpectedly fall to the Cardinals was a Godsend. The Cardinals trading away multiple picks and future capital to move up to get him would have been questionable. Rosen has question marks just like any other young QB but he was a value where he was drafted in terms of potential and a steal if he becomes a regular starter. So far, he looks like he could make it so I'd say Cardinals fans should be pretty pleased. If he tops out or starts getting injured then you have to reassess.

But the pick itself should go down as a good move all things considered.

Correct. Well, I really wanted Mayfield. But, I was pissed at the move up when staying put could’ve netted Jackson.

I still think Darnold will do well. Well, if he gets some help. He's in QB purgatory right now but if they get him some weapons I think he'll do fine. Powell, Crowell, Anderson and Pryor A'INT IT though. I mean, what are thinking by re-assembling the offensive offense of the Browns?!?

Mahommes is the real deal. Tonight just proved it. Monster throws and good decisions on that last touchdown drive. Killer instinct. Every time I see him play I am furious that the Cards didn’t go for the guy they wanted. Same with Watson. Both were snatched up.

Man, after reading through that Leinart thread I'm cautiously optimistic with Rosen. The Seattle Safety gave him praise mentioning that he went through his progressions.

He might offset the burn, but Mahomes looks like generational talent. Rosen could be Matty Ice without the choke job and I’m good with that. But Mahomes man....that’s Favre without the picks.

You realize Matty Ice without the choke jobs is basically just as good as Favre without the picks?

Imagine how much better Rosen would look with a good HC, OC, OL and WRs.

From looking at the YouTube video of all his throws, the OL looked like they did a great job of protecting him.

I did not hate the pick, but there are going to be some bumps in the road. Let’s see how adjusts to when teams have tape on him.

Let Rosen sit for a year and then give him Kelce, Hunt, Hill and Watkins in a fully functional offense and he'd probably look pretty good too. Mahommes has next level arm strength but I don't know that he has next level QB'ing skills like reading a defense, manipulating coverage, timing, anticipation, etc. I think he's getting by on athletic skill and that can look extremely tantalizing and unstoppable but I'm not convinced yet. RGIII and Kaepernick both looked unstoppable early in their careers too.

Can't forget Dak Prescott
