Its my grandmas birthday and my daughter has an art show on Thursday night and I have no DVR

i wonder if gamepass would have it right after the game or not until the next day? Who am i kidding I cant hide from the score until 10pm.
These art shows are friggin awesome too, the kids at this school are incredibly talented. I can miss it and its not a big deal but its something I really enjoy going to.
bull****,...just tell granny the little girl is going to put on a show for her birthday,....so drive where she tells you to and take a seat...
nopeIf you have NFL network +
You have Verizon?
Tell granny you have an art show. Tell your daughter you need to go to granny's birthday. I'll save you a seat at a bar.![]()
BRR... this won't help you now, but in a few months you'll be able to use your Xbox One as a DVR for over-the-air broadcasts. I should be getting a Hauppauge TV tuner for my Xbox for Christmas... then I'll just need to pick up an external HD to dedicate as DVR storage.
I resisted getting a DVR for a LONG time, but finally bought in a few years ago. Even though I don't watch a ton of TV, I can't imagine being without it. For sports, I watch 98% of what I want to see live - however, one of the most awesome features is the ability to pause live TV. This is invaluable with sports! The little woman is just finishing fixing breakfast and here comes the kickoff - pause! Start "live" 5 minutes later. Catch up to live quickly by zipping through commercials. Incredible how often this is useful.
It also does split screen, so I can watch 2 games at once when desired, which I find is fairly often. Usually not for long stretches, but when there is something critical going on in multiple games, it's really nice to have.
All that said - I'll be out there tomorrow night, loud & proud.
I dont have cable so im stuck waiting on my xbox one to have DVR. I can pause live tv though which i love.
For what...20 minutes? Too bad you can't pause it for a few hours, eh?![]()
From what I've read about it, it's going to require the HD to be dedicated:i know I am impatiently waiting for it. Already have the tuner and a 5TB HD attached to it ready to go. the 5tb is so huge i dont think it will need to be dideicated. I have like 20 xbox 360 games and maybe 20 xbox one games on it now and its not even taking up 5%
From what I've read about it, it's going to require the HD to be dedicated:

Maybe that will change before it released... it's Microsoft, they should be able to partition the drive into 2 sections.
VCR works too.
what is a VCR?
All we have is one VCR and a DVD/VCR.
Can't even remember the last time we even recorded anything which is why we do not have a DVR.
