Joe Frazier statue finds new home at Philadelphia Museum of Art

The statue honoring boxing legend Joe Frazier has officially been moved to its new home at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Crews carefully installed the 12-foot-tall bronze statue onto a platform outside the museum on Thursday.

The "Smokin' Joe" statue is replacing the Rocky statue that was relocated inside the museum for a temporary exhibition.

"I want young people and everybody to know that things take time, it takes time to be a champion boxer, it takes time to be educated. Life is not necessarily instant, but we're going to do things together," said Frazier's daughter, Jacqui Frazier-Lyde.

The official unveiling of the Joe Frazier statue in its new home will take place on June 29.
