i wonder if gamepass would have it right after the game or not until the next day? Who am i kidding I cant hide from the score until 10pm.

These art shows are friggin awesome too, the kids at this school are incredibly talented. I can miss it and its not a big deal but its something I really enjoy going to.

If you have NFL network they'll re-air it after the post-game show. Probably 11pm or midnight.

It's one game out of 16+

You have Verizon? You can stream on your phone for free. And 98.7 broadcasts the radio call through their app in the local market. I've missed more TV viewing this year than any other for various reasons and these two options have been a godsend.

Listening to Dave Pasch do our games is nearly as good as watching them with your own eyeballs.

Tell granny you have an art show. Tell your daughter you need to go to granny's birthday. I'll save you a seat at a bar. :D

That's what my wife and I call a 'ghost' trip....

Wife to her family: We're going to husband's relatives for Christmas dinner
Husband to his family: We're going to wife's relatives for Christmas dinner

Husband to wife: Let's go play golf/go to game/movie/binge Netflix.. etc
Wife to husband: You got it

BRR... this won't help you now, but in a few months you'll be able to use your Xbox One as a DVR for over-the-air broadcasts. I should be getting a Hauppauge TV tuner for my Xbox for Christmas... then I'll just need to pick up an external HD to dedicate as DVR storage.

I resisted getting a DVR for a LONG time, but finally bought in a few years ago. Even though I don't watch a ton of TV, I can't imagine being without it. For sports, I watch 98% of what I want to see live - however, one of the most awesome features is the ability to pause live TV. This is invaluable with sports! The little woman is just finishing fixing breakfast and here comes the kickoff - pause! Start "live" 5 minutes later. Catch up to live quickly by zipping through commercials. Incredible how often this is useful.

It also does split screen, so I can watch 2 games at once when desired, which I find is fairly often. Usually not for long stretches, but when there is something critical going on in multiple games, it's really nice to have.

All that said - I'll be out there tomorrow night, loud & proud.

i know I am impatiently waiting for it. Already have the tuner and a 5TB HD attached to it ready to go. the 5tb is so huge i dont think it will need to be dideicated. I have like 20 xbox 360 games and maybe 20 xbox one games on it now and its not even taking up 5%

It's a prime time game, I'm sure there will be a download available out there somewhere if you miss some or all of it...

From what I've read about it, it's going to require the HD to be dedicated:

http://www.purexbox.com/news/2015/0...equire_users_to_have_a_dedicated_external_hdd

Maybe that will change before it released... it's Microsoft, they should be able to partition the drive into 2 sections.

Family first. My girls have their Christmas concert on Thursday.

I joked with them that they were making me miss the game and my youngest said; "Daddy it's ok you can stay home and watch the Cardinals I know you love them."

So now I HAVE to go to the concert! lol She's good.
