I don't miss DW but I do sometimes daydream about what this defense could look like with him in the mix as well.

I think Rod Graves name should never be mentioned around here ever.

I miss Dansby, but don't blame him for taking the money.

We would be a better team with Boldin, Washington, and Dansby, but I don't know how you tale Foote off the field... so maybe I'm wrong.

Go Cards!!!

Washington and Dansby are so much better than Foote it isn't funny. Foote's been doing very well comperable to expectations, but let's not get crazy here.

Foote: 59 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 INT through 14 games.
Dansby through 14 games: 104 tackles, 6.5 sacks, 3 INTs, 2 TDs.

I get the "sabermetrics" that Dansby puts up mind-boggling numbers and is a much better playerl. I completely agree with it.

I'm just saying that Foote is, without question, the leader of this defense, and it's hard to imagine them being this special without him on the field.

Go Cards!!!

I miss watching Q, DW and KD making plays in cardinal red…

We had that right now we would be going to the SB IMO with Carson…

Unstoppable…

I dunno. That sounds a lot like recency bias. Dansby was the unquestioned leader of the defense last year, and a more productive player on the field.

Foote's value is like 70% what he delivers as a leader and coach on the field and 30% the production he brings once the ball is snapped.

I wish they were playing now too.

And, I wish no one else on Redheart's list any ill will. At least those guys helped us get out of being a perpetual joke of a franchise in the 1990s and in the early 2000s to where we are now. They were an improvement over what was here before. I can enjoy our success without slagging on former Cards.

Yep!! DWeed not only is the best defensive player on this team, but he's probably the best overall player on this team. Doesn't matter if we miss him. What matters is that the Cardinals miss him. Do you know how sick this defense would be with him!!!

I dunno. I think that Washington--not only not a good leader (proven--thanks for listening, board!), but possibly a negative influence on the team--would disrupt the chemistry that we've had so far. Hard to sell "next man up" and "no one's bigger than the team" when one of your guys has chosen himself over the team--twice.

I'd rather play Deone Bucannon at ILB for the next four years than welcome Daryl Washington back into the fold.
