The Pop-Tarts Bowl has quickly become an iconic part of the college football bowl calendar, despite the fact that it has only existed in its current form since 2023.
The game is perhaps best known for its viral, edible Pop-Tarts mascot. In years past, the game's mascot would be lowered into a giant toaster and, ultimately, consumed by the winning team. This year, however, the Pop-Tarts Bowl team is changing things up.
In the 2025 edition of the game, there are six total Pop-Tarts mascots divided into two teams: Team Sprinkles and Team Swirls. During the game, fans can vote on which team they want to be eaten by the victorious squad in Saturday's game between Georgia Tech and BYU.

Now, the Pop-Tarts Bowl is leaving it to democracy to decide which team of Pop-Tarts will get to fulfill its lifelong dream of being eaten. For fans looking to vote, you can text either "SPRINKLES" or "SWIRLS" to 21523. Voting begins at kickoff, and the winning team will be revealed after the game.
