One game has led the way in ticket prices throughout Seattle's World Cup preparations: the United States matchup against Australia. Prices for the June 19 game are thousands of dollars more expensive than other group stage matches in Seattle.
After the USMNT opened with a 4-1 win on June 12, tickets to Friday's showdown between theUnited States and Australiahave skyrocketed. The match's cheapest tickets are now nearly $2,000. Official resale tickets from FIFA start around $1,840. Tickets on FIFA's Last Minute ticket sales site were not available as of June 17.
