David Gabriel Georges will play for Tennessee football.

The five-star running back from Chattanooga Baylor committed to the Vols on July 22, choosing them over Ohio State and Ole Miss in a major recruiting win for coach Josh Heupel.

The 6-foot, 205-pound Gabriel Georges is ranked as the No. 2 running back in the 2027 class and the top overall prospect in Tennessee, according to the 247Sports Composite.

Gabriel Georges ran for 1,756 yards and 27 touchdowns last season, leading Baylor to a 12-0 record and the program’s first undefeated season since 1973. He was named MaxPreps’ national player of the year, making him the first Canadian-born player to win the award.
