How IShowSpeed reacted to England’s World Cup exit against Lionel Messi’s Argentina

American influencer IShowSpeed was among the many famous faces in the crowd for the World Cup semi-final in Atlanta.

Harry Kane’s England played against Lionel Messi’s Argentina at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium for a place in the final.

While England took the lead through Anthony Gordon, Argentina came back to win 2-1 with an injury-time winner.

IShowSpeed, who was wearing an England jersey, was stunned by the result, and he posted his immediate reaction online.

IShowSpeed’s reaction to England’s World Cup semi-final defeat​

IShowSpeed has supported several countries at the World Cup, including the United States men’s national team and Portugal.

Speed is an enormous Cristiano Ronaldo fan and always wants him to succeed, while also wanting Lionel Messi to fail.

Ronaldo and Messi are often considered the two greatest players ever, although most people side with the Argentinian.

Speed really wanted England to defeat Argentina and prevent Messi from winning another trophy, and that had looked likely.


But the 39-year-old assisted Lautaro Martinez’s winner with a superb cross, breaking English fans’ hearts worldwide.

On this occasion, Speed happened to be one of those Three Lions supporters, and he certainly reacted like a true fan.

He posted a five-minute video of his reaction on social media, in which he looked devastated and did not say anything.

Even though he is not English, Speed’s reaction summed up yet another heartbreak for England at a major tournament.
