How is this guy still pitching in the majors? He has no business pitching in the MLB. We should've gotten rid of him way before we got rid of Putz. Every time this guy pitches chalk it up as a loss.

Maybe I was wrong about this guy apparently during the broadcast they said teams were interested in him. Amazingly he pitched a good game. I guess all you need to do is throw hard and be healthy and teams will wasnt you.

Teams in the playoff hunt and teams with injuries to their rotations will be interested in throwing him in the back of their rotations. Interest in him is fueled by the asking prices for guys like Price, Samardjia, Hamels, etc.

Or up your record to 2-10 by beating the team with the worst batting average in all of Major League baseball -- .213 -- 21 points behind the next worst team.

It is like the old joke about the Minor League scout who called his GM and said, "I just watched a game where the pitcher struck out all 27 batters. Only one hitter even made contact, fouling off a pitch."

The GM said, "Sign the guy who fouled it off. We need hitters." :)
