Iowa Hawkeyes guard Chazadi Wright has the coolest nickname, and we absolutely need more people to know about it.
Wright's signature moniker is unlike anything you've probably ever heard for a basketball player, and it's so good that we understand why seemingly everyone, from friends, family, to her Iowa teammates, calls her it.

Are you ready for this? Her nickname is "Chit-Chat."
Yes. That's her actual nickname, and we can't stop smiling about how good it is. How did she get it? The story is the best. Apparently, as a child, she was very quiet, and her AAU teammates gave her a name that was the opposite of who she was at that time. Here's Wright explaining the origin story behind the name.
How cool is that? That's an absolutely sick name. Additionally, it's fitting now because Wright's game is sure to spark conversation when she's on the court. (See what we did there?)
The Georgia Tech transfer is currently leading the Hawkeyes in points and assists, and everything about her on the hardwood screams "loud." She's got impeccable handles, vision and is a very solid scorer.
The sophomore star should definitely be in your women's basketball chit-chats with your friends. OK, that was probably too much. We'll show ourselves out.
