After he was waived by the Charlotte Hornets, veteran shooting guard Josh Okogie signed a one-year deal with the Houston Rockets. Given Dorian Finney-Smith's struggles throughout the year, Okogie turned out to be a bargain, playing in 78 out of a possible 82 games, averaging 17.4 minutes.

While Okogie's scoring totals were down a bit, he's a shooting guard that isn't known to take many shots (averaging 3.8 FGA). When he did shoot, his numbers were solid from the field while also shooting a career-best 38.5% from 3-point range. Once again, his defensive activity was great, especially coming from a role player on a minimum contract. The only area where the Georgia Tech product disappointed was his free-throw percentage, shooting an uncharacteristically low 59.4% from the line despite owning a career 73.6% average. But all things considered, Okogie may have produced the highest value per dollar amount on the team during the season. Okogie will be a free agent this summer, and the 27-year-old is unlikely to be available at the same price point.

Overall grade: B+
