The Houston Cougars had an inspiring and somewhat unexpected run deep into the men's NCAA Tournament just a few weeks ago.
They got to the title game after upsetting Duke in the Final Four round and appeared to be on the way to winning it all until Florida beat them back in the final game, 65-63.
Guard Terrance Arceneaux, who was a junior this past season, helped them out off the bench. He is now heading to North Carolina State through the transfer portal, and teammate Milos Uzan had a supportive message for him.
"My dawg go crazy," Uzan wrote on social media.
Arceneaux averaged 6.5 points and 2.7 rebounds in 20.3 minutes a game this past season.
He significantly improved his offensive efficiency by shooting 44.3% from the field and 33.7% from 3-point range after he went 38.6% overall and 28.6% from downtown the previous season.

A 6-foot-6 wing, he was one of the top high school prospects out of Texas. His playing time has gradually improved during his three seasons in the NCAA, all of which were spent with the Cougars.
The North Carolina State Wolfpack went just 12-19 last season under Kevin Keatts, who was fired after eight years with NC State. The Wolfpack welcomes the 2025-26 season with former MCNeese State head coach Will Wade.
Along with Arceneaux, they have also gained forward Colt Langdon from Butler, guard Tre Holloman from Michigan State and shooting guards Quadir Copeland and Alyn Breed from the transfer portal.
As recently as 2024, they reached the Final Four, where they lost to Purdue by 13 points.
