The sensational undefeated run for the Hope College men's lacrosse team came to an end with a 20-7 loss to No. 2 Bowdoin College in the NCAA Division III quarterfinals on Friday, May 15.

It was the first and only loss of the year for the 20-1 Flying Dutchmen and the furthest postseason run in program and MIAA history.

Bowdoin jumped out to a 6-2 lead after the first quarter, then a 4-0 advantage in the second gave the Polar Bears a 10-2 lead at halftime and the Flying Dutchmen couldn't get any closer.
